Dr. Jionel E. Pierre
Managing Partner, Lead Advocate, Senior Neutral and Mediator 

A native of Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Pierre is an educational advocate and expert in matter of special education, special education law, law, education, and educational leadership. While central to his personal mission, Dr. Pierre believes in helping other and ensuring the rights of students with disabilities are protected. Dr. Pierre has over 20 years of experience in the broad field of education, advocacy, and law. Give Dr. Pierre’s desire to assist parents and students with disabilities, in 2010, Dr. Pierre founded Exceptional Consultants in Atlanta, Georgia.  As its central focus, Exceptional Consultants has assisted parents in ensuring their children’s access to a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) is secured. In addition to providing advocacy services to parents of students with disabilities, Dr. Pierre, provides mediation services to civil litigants.  Dr. Pierre is currently a member of various organization within and outside the broad field of education, and has had the distinct honor of serving as an Assistant Professor of Education at Kennesaw State University, where he instructed undergraduate and graduate student and teacher candidates.  Dr. Pierre is also member of various non for profit corporations dedicated to improving the lives of the less fortunate and continues to be an active member of his community.   Although working with clients throughout the United States and its Territories, Dr. Pierre’s greatest accomplishment is being a great father to his children.
